Oil Pan is on!


Turbo's oil return is in!


Engine is timed with new belt and pulleys / tentioner


Ran into a snag. The water temp sensor in the head gets in the way or the ZX2 intake. Need to fill it with a set screw M10x1.5. I orderd it in 10mm length. Hope it works.


Thermostat housing might be bad

Found that the brakes pads were really messed up. I don't know if the calipers are messed up or the pads were installed incorrectly. But they have a huge lip on the top edge. Like it was missing the top of the rotor.


Rough Idle.


Something just clicked. I don't know what happend, but the engine just when smooth. It likes to have all of the sensors hooked up. I just need the get the engine tuned for the intake cam. The smoke is some oil on the Cat.


ZX2 first drive.


I didn't take a pic of the broken Passenger Mirror, but have have to do the same to this side. Although this one is now hanging from the cable. It is pulling away from the door at the top.

yep, Aaron's turbo drag car and Robert's Turbo track car. I would love to build one as well, but that takes more money then I have.

If I'm not mistaken, Aaron is gonna put Nitrous on his silver car. So he'll potentially have 2 13 second escorts.

has he even hit13's on the first car yet? I know he was in the low 14's but have not yet heard of him making 13's yet.
On a site note, at one of my sites today (Ritche Brothers) up north, there are a couple of SRT4 guys out there that love my car. Every week they ask me tons of questions about what I've done and what else I could do to it, like turbo and all that crap. I'm trying to convince him to lose the SRT4 and get a nice new FoFo. According to him the SRT4 (Neon) uses the EVO motor and FWD trans, so for about the same amount of money you get half and EVO!!! that sucks, no wonder the SRT4 guys are always whining.

Well, once he gets to use his drag radials he will be in the 13's no doubt. He needs to get longer wheel studs to accommodate the wheels that came with those radials. He ran a 14.5 on shitty street tires and still with a couple boost leaks. He now has a new Intake manifold, new couplers, and I believe his boost leaks should be all gone. I believe he is currently saving up to put on his new turbo and a re tune. Later on he is going to be building up a different ZX2 motor with SVT Rods & Pistons and shoot for 290 WHP and Something 2XX WTQ. Also he got some coil overs with MOAR LOWWZZ and has a CFM throttle body I believe he is waiting to fab up a special bracket so he can use it.

As for the silver car. I believe he is going to run Nitrous with a SVT intake manifold and some other stuff not too aware of what's happening there.

Nice progress on the ZX2. Im luving the go fast parts. As far as my Foci is concerned, Im leaning towards going boost w/it. Especially after what Ryan said hes achieved w/just bolt-ons.
