Stevie, come on y'gotta realize I was rein actin' the Honda kids. I'd say the SVT would keep up until the Saab hits 40mph since its as fast as the Porsche 911 apparently.

Saab is rated at 207tq at about 2k rpm in Linear form and can hold that torque down the whole powerband. SVT is rated at 145tq at 5500rpm. Torque is what gets you moving. And unfortunately SVT's have tall 1st & 2nd gears and like to bog. Saab has turbo lag for like .5 of a second then just pulls. Of course you have the weight advantage but even then... Would be a good run though for sure.

I'll be glad to if you wanna drive to Long Beach and pick it up before Friday. Then you'd have to drop it off Saturday for my family to get home.

I gotta wait for that Vtec or should I say Zetec to kick in? It would be a good run for sure. When I get a new clutch we'll do a real race.

I think it's safe to say the SVT would take the Saab by maybe 3/4 car lengths. *WINK* *WINK*

I think its safe to say the Saab can make it through any weather condition. *WINK* *WINK* And I'd call it a drivers race since it was so close but good run regardless. Guess a 750-800lbs difference makes a really big difference.

I'd say if the Saab had some sort of launch control it would win.
