FSWerks has offically announced that they are developing a turbo kit for the Zetec which should be on sale in the next 3-4 months and another for the SVT a few months after that. forums.focaljet.com/fswerks/618257-fswerks-zetec-svt-turbo-kit-development-affordable-options.htmlThe kit will probably include everything the current Duratec Stage 2 kit provides at an estimated cost of $3,500 - Garrett GT28R turbo with custom modifications - Garrett GT28RS and GT2871R options and upgrades - Internal wastegate actuator - They are undecided on manifold ATM - Stainless steel downpipe w/ 2 O2 sensor fittings - Powder coated plumbing with bead rolled ends - 3 and 4 ply silicone connecting hoses - Stainless steel hose clamps - Heat wrap for all critical components - 42lb. Bosch fuel injectors - Water line kit - Stainless steel braided oil drain - Bosch Diverter Valve - Custom MAF housing - ITG Maxogen air filter - Front mount intercooler - FSWERKS /SCT X3 ECU flasher - ECU programming - Free dyno tuning session Basically everything you need for a 'bolt-on' turbo kit. It will be designed to run on a stock motor and produce 220whp on the zetec and 250whp on the SVT. The most current picturesof production can be seen below. They won't show more until the all specs are are finalized and the car has been dynotuned. All the parts were plumbed in and the car was running yesterday. They should have it on the rollers this weekend.

Their zetec test car was just recently started after sitting for almost 2 years. After fixing a faulty fuel pump all was in working order. Here are the dyno results from when the car was 100% stock (besides an aluminum flywheel) compared to the turbo dyno results...This is only running straight off the wastegate without a MBC and only 6 PSI. They installed a Turbosmart MBC and turned up the boost to see what final numbers they could hit, but the clutch in their test car has been beaten on and couldn't hold the power from 11 PSI. More results will be posted after an new stock clutch is installed. They are trying to find the limits of a stock motor and clutch.

The car was at FOTB. Here are some photos, finished dynos and finalized pricing. Here are the 2 power levels; the first dyno is running straight off the wastegate, while the second dyno is using their Turbosmart Manual Boost Controller. (5.5PSI) (11PSI) The FSWERKS Zetec Turbo Kit comes (100%) complete, parts, tuning, injectors, etc... Here is the pricing of the kit... -$3295.00 Stage 1 intercooled turbo kit. ***For more power just purchase the Turbosmart MBC $89.95 and increase your boost, or run any other MBC or electronic boost controller on the market.
