My project for today is sealing up my airbox so it feeds from the front ram air scoop only. Also filled in a couple holes that are above the mounts, they might be drains for debris but I have never gotten much of anything whenever I pull the filter. Stock box but same idea SVT box half way done, just filling/smoothing then paint Also bought a billet 6061 CNC machined Intake Manifold flange and fuel rail from Aaron. I believe Dominic Biro over at dominanteng.com/ is the guy that made this. He is the one that inspires me to do my build after looking at all his never ending ideas and amazing talent.

Box is all sealed. Not to bad for not really taking my time to get it 100% flat since the filter is the only one that'll be seeing it...

@ BOB. I semi boxed up my Air filter. It's really tucked away because of the splash shield I made. I also routed a 4 1/2 tubing from my lower grill to my filter and I think it might have helped. I still gotta get steven to data log it. My Butt dyno tells me it helps.

Small update I guess. Mounted up the IM flange, and am starting to research how I want to design it. The flange lines up perfect with the intake ports and should flow like crazy. Whole thing And my wheels should be coming in about another month.

A few small updates. Bought me a set of 215/45/17 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs. Mounting is already paid for, just a matter of when the wheels come in now. Also had ordered a new front O2 sensor since I believe the oringinal 130k mile one had served well. Installed it and believe it or not, I think it fixed my battery light issue. My battery light has not come on since and the car seems to idle alot smoother. It also is able to catch itself alot quicker before stalling out. (think I have a vacuum leak somewhere) Then I just realized me and Tom only tuned for 87 oct and never finished the 91 oct one. So I'll see if I can retune for 91 in a couple days. Not expecting much but it'll help. Besides I've been running 91 all this time so why not? Last but not least, I finally wired up my clutch position sensor like the factory would have. Printed off some wiring diagrams and it turned out to be simple as hell. Not sure why no ones ever solved this problem when doing the MTX swap. As a bonus, my cruise control works again. Now I just need to wire up the clutch position sensor for the cruise control so it turns off after stepping on the clutch. Also need to figure out the last two transmission codes that keep popping up, already have a few ideas, just need to get to it. Overall, I'm very happy with how my car is running, EVERYTHING mechnically works well and its been very reiable. I see no reason not to keep modding it and start building a turbo motor for it. I'm about to go big

Battery light fix with O2 sensor? Sounds like an Audi.

Haha now only if the whole car was as refined and simply drop dead sexy as a real Audi, then it'd be acceptable.
No I think the O2 was causing a slow response at idle which wanted to make the engine stall or there was an internal short not throwing a code? IDK but I'm not complaining lol.

look good! those are the ProRace 3s right. I think a saw a thread over on FJ about a group buy from a while ago, think about 100-120 people go them. What are you gonna do with the stock set now?

Thanks Bob! and yeah these are the Pro Race 3's. The group buy is mostly for the Pro Race 1.2's which are the multi spokes everyone has. This is the first 17x7/4x108/et45/High Power Silver set of Pro Race 3's in the U.S.. 1 of only 4 sets of Pro 3's (other sets are either Anrathicite or White) I know of in the U.S. These were custom from England which is why it took almost 3 months to get but damn they are worth it. As for the old wheels, not sure. Tires are junk but I might keep or sell the stock wheels.

Also my Gorilla lugs came in today, gonna look so nice with the wheels. Now just waiting on my missing hub rings to come from Team Dynamics. Hopefully tomorrow I can install all 5 wheels after work an go get some pics!
