Guys, got a question

Okay, so I've been working on my ZX2s for two years now, and it's really getting old because I don't ever have the money to get my car to where it should be. (painted, turbo'd, and mtx swapped)

I recently had an epiphany when a fellow zx2ner told me to buy his car. It really threw me off because his car is exactly what I want my car to be, almost to the tee. Literally, the only thing the car is missing is an armrest I can swap out of my current car.

My epiphany was this:
to sell all of my performance goodies: turbo kit, mtx swap, wings west kit, exhaust, etc, to buy his car straight up for what he's asking.
He already told me he'd drive it out here, so that covers delivery. The title is clean, and the car has no accidents.
It gets 32mpg average with the turbo installed!
All I have left to ask him is how's the underside of the car, and if he would take payments.

This deal would end the parts collection and constant downtime of my car. I'd be able to start saving money and get into school.

That looks like a very clean and well done ZX2 for $4500! I'd say go for it with that price specially if he's willing to drive it cross country from Conneticut to Nevada. The only bad thing I see is that you miss out on building a car like that yourself but I can see where it'd be nice to just have it done. I doubt you could finish your current car without spending less than what it'd be to snatch this one up, bodywork and paint ain't cheap. But yea I'd say go for it, again, what a steal for that price!

So I got all of my parts listed up to make the money required for the car, and the guy backs out.. because he sold another of his cars. Well, I'm still sort of in the market for another ZX2, so I think I'll find a nice '03 to mod or something..
