Steven improved his time by keeping the car cool and the engine off for a while.
My best run of the night was 16.08! I didn't get the 15.7 I wanted, but it's a lot better than my first run of 17.844

It was a blast seeing how slow/fast a bone stock 2010 Focus is, now I'll know when I mod what to benchmark it against.

Bob, two really important things to remember about our cars is weight and engine heat. I turned my car off every chance I got just so I could cool it off. It really helps your track times! Also, try running without a passenger. That's ~180lbs saved!

I really enjoyed seeing everyone there. Did anyone get some video footage? My girlfriend got some on her phone; I'll ask her to save it on my comp., and then I'll upload it later.

My passenger was 260lbs, but it was all in the name of fun.
It looked to me like the track was going away quite fast as the night progressed. Next time I will not be running a passenger and maybe it would help to drop a little weight myself!

WOW! 15.7 is what Motor Trend says a Pro can run a ZX2 at sea level'ish track. Nice going! A little cooler and you may just make it.

I'm pretty sure that 15.7 is a false claim.. it just doesn't seem right
Thanks for the compliment though. I'm definitely running the car again when it cools way down.
