Well, I have a bad left should (Damn football) soo I was down there and my shoulder locked up. I took a break, went back shoulder locked up again. Went back got it started took a hammer to it to try and get it in between the sub-frame and the other metal piece and it just wouldn't go. So I pulled it out and put the stock on back in. Steven told me it would be like this other SVTF that we test drove a couple months back. Thinking about it, I hated that car and how bad it shook, so I just decided not to try it.

Yep there a PITA. They do make the car shake a little but that's the side effect of having a much better mount. With it you get a lot better feel of the clutch and can put the power to the ground a little more efficiently without the motor flopping around.
Its one of the things I'm just weighting to get for my car, I would much rather have the better mount over a little shaky

Yep it will do that. I like it because you can feel exactly what the engine is doing and how its running

I had a poly mount for a few years. I only took it out because it wore out and my wife has been driving the car while I deliver in her's. She had a hard time with it but it wasn't that bad to me. Quit being a sissy.

^^^^^ This.
Just remember, he's only a kid...........................give him a few years to develop his driving skills and then he will appreciate having "Feel" in his car.

Also have to remember, if your tuned, you can simply bump the idle around 1k rpm to lessen the vibrations. I put the Massive one in my automatic and couldnt stand it but thats because the torque converter constantly has drag on it idling or in neutral. I've got 2 poly mounts I'll try with the MTX swap and I'll sell the one I dont use.

You will notice a difference with the MTX as having a stiffer mount will allow you to feel the clutch engagement point better and help with overall drive-ability.

Yea I also tried it on Dad's SVT and noticed a huge difference in feel with no motor movement but in the end he didnt like the extra vibrations without being tuned for it. Couldnt blame him.

^^^^^ This. Just remember, he's only a kid...........................give him a few years to develop his driving skills and then he will appreciate having "Feel" in his car. I understand what you're saying about the "feel for the car." I mean when I rode in the SVTF that had one, it was tuned, but still shook to hell. I mean I like to RACECAR a lot, but then there are the times I just like to cruise. When I get my license I'll most likely be hauling around friends that like there big'ole SUV's I kinda like to have it sorta comfortable. I mean, I love feeling every aspect of my car, hints why I got manual I just can't stand driving automatic.

You probably don't want it in for your driver's test either. That is if you are doing the test in your SVT.
