I'm not going gated, just too much work. Well got the motor out, only took about 2hrs. The hardest part was getting the converter unstuck from the flex plate.

Well I'm bored and this is the boredom thread soo I'll just post something. Well as most of you may know I'm finally taking autoshop in school and I honestly can't stand it. The kids in there are about as dumb as a bag of bricks. Today we had to go around saying our favorite car, keep in mid with these ridiculous budget cuts every single one of my classes have 45+ students in them. Here I'll just start a rant about how dumb school is this year. Last year my school had 1800 students we had 149 teachers. Perfect everything was setup and it was easy flowing. This year we have 2000+ students with 49 teachers. 49 TEACHERS!! Each one of my class rooms has 45+ students. For example of how bad it is. My science class seats 38 people, we have 45 students in the class. Kids are sitting on the counters. Its just ridiculous. Also, they say CCSD has no money. This year they put new projectors and surround sound in every class room. It's just bizarre that they spend money on stupid @$$ shit. Okay back to Autoshop, we had to go around saying our favorite car all's I heard for about 20 kids in a row is "Honda this" "Acura that" I had a headache. Then coming to me I say "Ford Sierra RS Cosworth" then some kid from across the room yells out "RICE!" its just ridiculous that us kids these days (Yes, I'll include myself) don't know anything about different types of cars and don't respect other kinds of cars. I really don't know what kind of point I'm trying to prove here, but I'm just bored and thought I'd share

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, thats a big school. My entire school was only like 850 kids, my graduation class was 212!!! And most "new" things you see in the school are really about 3 years old, or were paid for with money from 3 years ago. My wife was a teacher for 4 years here in town and the crap she used to get was a joke, her 2nd year they whole school got combo VCR/DVD players for the classrooms, but the school district couldn't afford to install them! Over the summer brake that year I installed the one in my wifes room then "Every" other one in the whole dam school, for free, so the kids and teachers could watch DVD's I had a similar situation in high school with a metals class, the teacher decided to retire in the middle of the year after 25+ in the district. They replaced him with a woods teacher. It was a disaster, after about a month of hell I stepped in and rant the class my self, while in the class and in school. I turned out great and the year was saved. Thats not something thats going to happen in this town but worked out great in the farm town I was in. Good luck and remember to smile and wave.

Also, lunch at our school is like watching a bunch of wild chickens with their heads cut off its funny. Just seeing SO many kids packed into one area. I mean if this was final destination and a fire started in the lunch room and all the doors locked it would be like a reenactment of the holocaust, just being honest I mean its just that packed.

Words cant describe how excited I am to have graduated last year. Hell, I mean school, in Las Vegas is a pure joke and most kids now a days are even more of a joke. I almost want to say our world is reverting back to the stone age with seeing the "future" generation grow up...

yep, make me want to move away just so my kids will have a good school system. It amazing to see everything change over the years. Thats one reason why im glad my 8yr old lives w/his mom in Chicago. They have a better schooling system out there but my son was also accepted in an accelerated school. So now he can really show off his potential. My other lil ones though have to unfortunately go through this system out here in Vegas; unless i decide to reenlist and move away.

Theres no replacement for displacement, positive displacement that is!!!! Its amazing what 8-10lbs of boost can do to any motor!!!! I just wish I had about 5K so I could do it as well, maybe its time to get a second job and save up!

Lol, well 8-10 lbs on a civic wouldnt be too much unless youve got a fully built motor. So im gonna play it safe w/the Eg and go supercharged and stick to the good go fast parts on the Foci.

thats because they have such little motors! probably why everyone drops in a K motor out of the accord?

The K motor is from the RSX. The accords have the B series. But thats a costly swap there.
