This is David (with the gray 2010) from the last meet. Thought I'd finally get on here. Having some trouble getting the avatar working though. Oh well I'll try again later. Nice to meet you all.

Welcome again! If you need any help with your '10 let me know. I have put a ton of money into mine so far and have most everything figured out.
So what do you have planned for the car? You can look through my build thread for ideas if you get really board.

So what do you have planned for the car? To start its getting 16" Konigs with pirelli or yoko rubber, haven't decided which yet, the FRPP suspension kit, some kind of rear disc convert, Hawk pads up front, sway bars yet to be determined, massive strut/stress bars, and probably the FSwerks stealth exhaust and CAI (with tune) to start. May go turbo D23 down the road. This should happen over the next 6 months or so.

I usually like to do all my own work, but we'll see how it goes. If I go turbo later I'll definitely have somebody that's done it before help me out. Plus I live pretty far away from most of you

Yep, I could have done my FRPP myself but why not let someone else get dirty for you. It only took Mario and Ryan about 45min to 1hr to get the whole car done! And we like to have fun working on each others cars, it helps build great friendships!

Totally understandable. And chances are I'll have some of you help me. Still getting used to having other people work on my car (warranty and all). It's just a bug I picked up being a tech. Don't want to offend anyone.
Totally unrelated question. Will the SVT brakes fit under 16"s? I've heard different answers. Anything diffinitive?

Should fit fine. Its really not needed on our cars though as we have some great breaks from the factory. Cheaper to put some aggressive pads on. I'm at 59,000+ miles and still have well over 50% left on stock pads.

Yep I'm running my factory 16's over SVT brakes. They are close to the calipers but will clear. If you have your wheels, you could always test fit them on my car.
