Wow, your car is definitely coming along nicely! I can help with the intake and tuner, infact you could bring them both to the meet if your going and we could install those things there if ya want. I can bring my tools along.

Thank you, from a build up stand point I am about done. Just waiting to see when my exhaust will be in. Then I have install the Amp and Sub and she's about there! After that I will probubly start painting parts of the interior, but I Haven't really figured out the direction I want to go there yet. O and I almost forgot about the Headlight and tail light tint, just got that in as well. It looks like I'm going to need another club parts bash to tie up the loose ends. I can not wait to show everyone how far I have brought the car so far.

Does anyone have any experience with an SCT flash programer. I just about killed my car this morning trying to put in a tune. I kept getting a 1016 code and it would go through everything and then Fail after it got to 100% It took me an hour to get my car running again this morning. FSWerks said to Start the whole thing with the key in the an position, then when asked to turn the key to the on position to trun it off and back on really quick. He said that the Focus can be a tricky bugger to deal with some times and that I should try it when I'm not at work next time..............Thanks (No ****) Thanks

I have lots of experience with the whole SCT tuner and LiveLink datalogging stuff. But I've never had a problem uploading a tune before on my car. Did you give them your ECU code and is it correct? I'd have to see your process and what happens before I can really suggest or help with anything.
Most important thing is to make sure you dont lose the stock factory tune. Otherwise you'll need to tow the car and have Ford reflash it back to stock. Hopefully the ECU itself didnt get corrupted or damaged.

Thats a good question. There was no Code sticker on my ECU, I had to go by the numbers on the end of the ECU. I will have to look again and see if I screwed it up or not. As far as programing everything would work till the very end, it would reach 100% then about 10 sec later it would say it failed to load the program. The factory tune should be fine as I have been driving for 3 days now since I tried to program the car. I just hope that they did not give my car a new tune when I took it in for the TB Problem 2 weeks ago.

There should be a 4 character long code. It will start with 3 letters and end with a number. For example, mine is CJW0. If I remember right, the code should be by itself on a sticker on the ECU. Of course this is on an older zetec focus but I dont think any of that has changed as the focus has evolved. Here's a link to someone having a similiar problem on FJ : forums.focaljet.com/ecu-tuning/644297-ecu-flashing-help-needed.html I wish I could help more but I'd need to see the car in person and see what problems you're having.

Yes I know about the code and the fact that its on a sticker on the ECU, but mine does not have a sticker. I used the first UKP2 code on the end of the ECU as it was the only 4 dig code on it. Attachments:
