Anyone know of a good spot to mount a small amp in the Focus, just a 300W for my Sub.

When I had mine, I mounted it to the sub box.

I thought about there as well but then I need to mount the box some how, it likes to slide around back there. Thats the last thing I want flopping around, $300 sub/amp combo. In fact I might as well for now, till I can figure out how to mount it to the bottom of the parcel shelf (roof of the trunk).

Yep it took them a week and a half to make and then a week and a half in shipping. I went ahead and decided to try my hand at tinting my head/tail lights with a kit I got from RVinyl, it turned out pretty good. And thanks again to everyone that helped me get the exhaust installed yesterday. Attachments:

Success at last!!!!!! I finally got the programmer to work, it only took 2hrs, a firmware update, loaded the stock tune back into the ECU and then everything worked fine. Now I have all the power I will ever need, just kidding.

You said you got the stock tune back, but did you put the performance tune in?

Yes the performance tune loaded right up. Now its running great and probably helped me drop 1.22 sec's in the quarter while picking up 4-1/2 mph! @ MM last Friday night. So now I have a new ET of 16.767 @ 82.9mph.

Man, you need to run in cali. My ZX2 pulled 16.3 with 5speed, 17" rims, and 1 into 2 Muffler. Out here it was about 1.5 sec. slower. I hate altitude.

Well my car build has now hit a road block, everyone remember the EAP's I was supposed to get last week? well guess what, I didn't get them. It turns out that my grandma went to Mexico for her 84th birthday and my mom could not get the wheels before she drove down here. so now I am missing the wheels and tires i needed. This leaves me with no choice but to sell my 17's in order to afford to put some new tires on my old steelies and run them. I am super pissed but i have to do what is needed. So if anyone is interested in buying my 17s I will give you all the first chance at them. The specs are 17X7.5 -40 with a duel pattern lug hole pattern. I believe the other pattern is a 4x100 (Honda?) I paid $500 for the set and would let them go for $400 to a club member or I will list them for $500 on Craig's list if no one wants them. I would also entertain a possible trade for a good set of wheels and tires and possibly some coin. I need to get my car back into the long haul mode and maybe that means going down a few rim sizes. I can send pictures if anyone is interested. Thanks everyone.

Does anyone know of a good place to get some tire's? I have found some really good prices on line but then everyone wants $100-150 just to mount the up. Since I'm going back to the stock size tire and wheel I should get back about 3-5mpg's and some peace of mind while driving around town. The tire size I need is 195/60R15's, looking for a high mileage / low rolling resistance tire with at least a 60,000+ mile guarantee. Thanks
