My bad, i edited that part. Its actually about 20hp (big difference there huh). But on a car that comes stock with only 95hp (yeah 95) its a pretty big difference.

Theres definitely alot that can be done with Civic engines to get a desired power gain. Good thing is that you can use internal parts from other model Civics or Acuras to bump your compression. From there is just having the right tuning to maintian it.

no wander everyone puts a giant turbo in those. you got all kinds of room in there. Any part swap that nets you a 20% increase in power is cool! 95hp stock! that sucks.

If I ever have the money for a second car, I'll probably get a Honda. There are so many possibilities with them.

Update 8/17/2011: So tonight i finally got the head and everything else off the block. There are definitley extra parts im gonna get for the ride. Im definitely gonna invest in some better quality injectors, aftermarket pulley, maybe an aftermarket fuel rail/FPR and MAYBE some ARP head studs instead of the oem studs from Honda. (That'll depend on the cash flow.) Here are some pics of what the Eg looks like now. (It is screaming for some cleaning.) The new master cylinder stands out like a sore thumb, lol. This is what 200k+ original miles looks like on your pistons!!! Holy sh*t!!! So now its maintenance time. Im gonna clean up the bay, pistons, block as well as the Z6 head going in. Who knows, maybe i might get a performance cam as well. While im taking care of that, ill also be tearing out the interior and getting the RSX seats prepped for install. Now comes the fun part.

The cylinder bores look great though, time for some 12:1 replacement pistons!

Update 8/18/2011: So tonight i decided to take it a bit easy. I just took out the headliner and put in one RSX seat for a mock up fitment. Pic of the roof: Mock up fitment: The RSX seats sit alot higher than stock Civic or aftermarket seats Picture of the inside/dash of the Eg. That dirty grey carpet has to go

its gonna make it look way better and is a lot cheaper then custom paint. Just read an article in Modified where they did a mat white wrap on an STI, so smooth.

A little of topic; but im also doing a little side project. Im doing a shadow box of my Marine Corps accomodations. I designed a background in photoshop for it. So far ive got my Sgt chevrons, my EOD badge and my ribbons. Next im gonna get my shooting rifle/pistol badges and my medals and place them on there as well with the Marine Corps EGA in the top center. Heres a pic of what i got now: The background has the American flag w/an eagle placed subtlety over it. Below that is the EGA and at the very bottom are the Corps Values.
