Nice, good on you to not go the easy/lazy route of just leaving junk in there. Its always nicer to do it the right way. Definitely! I want to do a wire tuck in the worst way but that would require a month, garage, second car, and engine bay gutted all of which I dont have.

Me too, some times the best mods are the free but super time consuming ones

yep, low cost but time intensive. I bet a FoFo would look sick with a wire tuck!

Got my wideband harness relocated, pedal box installed, MTX brake/ clutch resevoir hooked up, shifter in, shifter cables routed, interior all back together and now its time to install the trans! May have to replace the freeze plug on the back of the block though, had some coolant dribble down when I pulled the ATX. Gonna get my dads impact to break loose the flexplate bolts and begin the install in the morning. Pics to come...

Can't wait to have you join the manual club. I cant wait either! I always wanted to build the ATX to be different but after driving a couple SVT's, I'd rather use my own brain instead of the computers brain to shift gears. Besides doing a MTX swap with Torsen diff is waaay cheaper than what building an ATX can ever be done for. Its a win win to me.

Found the camera and had a few before pictures on it. Old pass through I used for my wideband... ...But now a clutch master cylinder goes there so I relocated just up above All the wires follow the main dash harness representing OEM+ When I started taking the interior apart More things apart... And when things started coming out of the engine bay... What the interior looks like now And where I left off this morning Went to go install the clutch until I relized I have the wrong clutch alignment tool. Guess ZX2's use a smaller diameter input shaft then a Focus. Bout to go pick up the right one and continue on in a few. Also the coolant I found looks like it could of just collected from when my thermostat housing went, freeze plug looks perfectly fine and the rear oil main seal looks fine aswell.

Today was a HUGE step foward! Took me 5 attempts but was able to get the trans bolted up with the help of my dad. What a PITA it was, had to drop the subframe on the last attempt and even then it was still somewhat of a fight. But heres pics from tonight... Clutch all bolted in an ready Got trans outside waiting to go in And its all finally in, where I stopped for the night Tomorrow I'll hopefully button everything up.

It will be later today! Got the axles and suspension all back together, just need to go get me a MTX starter, finish some other wiring, bleed the clutch/brakes, fill power steering and ta da.... a MTX swapped Focus. I suppose I could just get push started everywhere I go now, I mean who needs a starter?
