Went and got a new to me work Car/Truck. 1999 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4! only has 63K miles, Fully loaded and a fat file of maintenance records. Guy put new tires and all on it ($580) and we (my boss) paid $4K for it. So for the next 18-24 months I get to work out of this up at my new site in the middle of the desert.

So I am more then halfway thru moving into my new house.. BOB I converted the BBQ to a natral gas and hooked up a quick disconnect to it... I paid a guy 230 to do all the work and do up the gas fireplace.. Will be nice not needing the Pro(pain) in the ass tanks filled.
Pool guy converted the swamp back into a pool and the winds tried to turn it back into a swamp... I spent a few housrs cleaning it again today.
I cant wait till I finished moving.

Oh yea there's a ton of V6/V8 cars that are a PITA to change plugs on. An '02 Cadiliac Deville (transverse V8 with coil casettes) was the worst one I've ever done, my dad can tell you more horror stories with other cars though lol. Anyways nice explorer

I am really hoping that my boss will let me buy it after the job is done, this thing is really nice. And i may be lifting it a little (1.5in) to run some bigger tires. Probably see if I can find some front torsion springs from a 5.0l V8 explorer and a set of multi leaf rear springs from a 4 door explorer, that along with a set of lift torsion bar keys and extended shackles should allow me to mount up a set of 265/75r 16's

I was racing a hummer down warm springs... neck and neck... he powered down when we hit 85ish.. at that point I noticed a car making a left in front of me, them new tires are harder rubber then I thought TURN!! slid to much when I turned into the guy to go behind him, sent me into a over steer slide left and then right, Spun backwards... I controled it for the most part but I got to remember how much harder this rubber is... not as tacky as the Eagle GTs.. lol
Adrenaline still rushing... Sliding uncontroled for a sec at 90+ is a rush..

yep that will always get you attention. What tires did you get? mine were doing great till I got about half way down on tread, now there a little slick for my taste. Now I just need to find about $400 to get some new shoes in a few months. Probably going with a 225/45-17 or a 205/50-17, either way they better have good warranty. I have about 16K on my tires and one of them is nearly to the ware bars!

Well as most of you know I recently moved out of my house, because I was forced to. To be fair I did stop paying for it though. Well I found out how much I sold for..........$90,000 cash! WTF I was into it for $290K. Anyway the guy did a little work to it, paint, small touchups and such. Now he has listed it for $149,999. Good luck idiot, I could buy a house almost twice as big for the same price.

He might get $120k for it if he finds an idiot to buy it for that much.
