Shoot, why not. I'm thinking about gutting mine, if not only to install some speakers that never got put into my other one.

Just as a side note to everyone. A dodge ram 2500 does not float on sand very well. at least it was not my truck, though it was a lot of fun to drive.

So it looks like the car is going back to Ford (95% sure of that) so now i need to figure out what to replace it with.
My short list of cars are this. Ford Escort ZX2 Volvo S80 (T6) Volvo S60 (2.5T) Saab 9-3 convertible Saab 9-5 sedan Fox body Mustang
Probably looking to keep it under $5K to start. just need to figure out exactly what i want to do.

Oh I like the SAAB options What year 9-3? Theres the OG9-3 ('99-'02 and '03 vert) and then there's the SS aka sport sedan 9-3 ('03-'11 or whenever GM murdered Saab) There was an '01 9-3 5dr Viggen on Craigslist a couple weeks ago for $4600, very rare to find. Viggen's are a hell of a car though, 2.3 TD04 turbo w/ 5-speed manual only plus the body and suspension changes. As for 9-5's I'd recommend trying to find an '04-'05 AERO which will have the cool bumpers. You could also get those with a 2.3 and 5-speed manual or auto. Here's an early AERO on CL which needs keys and a new TWICE module (about $600-700). lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/3345905871.htmlIf you have any SAAB questions ask away. But yeah get a SAAB!

Yep, you reminded me about saab cars when you started working on them. For me, I have decided to not spend an additional $8K on my focus that would still need several thousands in parts and would rather just get a turbo charged car for cheap to start with. Mostle looking for cars in the 1999-2005 range.

I finished my class for the A+ certification and got an A. Now to cram and take the actual exam for the cert. I'm taking the CCNA Fundamentals class next semester.
As for my car situation. The Kona got the coolant re-flushed and took it out and pressure washed it. We'll see if that fixes the overheating problem it had last summer. Also changed the fuel filter and ran a bottle of injector cleaner through it. It is running much better. Still has some sputtering at idle and some surging in second gear, but nothing too bad.
As for the Corolla... The reverse went out on it earlier this year. I had been parking on a hill at work and using neutral to roll out of the spot. After pulling into my spot after a delivery a few weeks ago, it would not roll back out. Something was preventing the car from rolling in neutral. The next day we dragged it out and drove it to my parents house. After dropping the pan and inspecting the filter, we found disintegrated metal parts in the transmission fluid. I'm probably going the find a used trans for it and sell it.

Hi everyone, been working my @$$ off. Pulling 65hr work weeks and driving the wee out of my F-150. In fact I drove it so much they took it away and gave me a 2013 Ram 1500 Hemi 4x4 crewcab. I was a little mad when they told me I had to give up the Ecoboost F-150, but 395hp Hemi sure made it better. Now I really understand the fun these trucks can be. So far im up yo 355 miles on the new truck, I hope it can handle offroad.

That's a beefy truck. My Civic hits 395hp on 2nd gear so I guess its ok for a truck, Lol.
